The problem

Sound familiar?

Heating and cooling work runs on seasons. When the AC dies in July or the furnace quits in January, callers pick fast. In the quiet months, tune-ups and plans bring in the money. Most HVAC websites lose those callers before they read a word.

  • Your number is two taps deep on a phone.
  • The headline says “Welcome to our website.”
  • No service area is named anywhere.
  • A stock photo shows people who do not work for you.
fold your number 2 taps deep visitor gives up here
Why the calls stop: the number is buried below the fold.

The fix

What does a clear site do?

A customer decides in seconds. A clear site shows what you do, where you work, and how to call you.

  • It says what you do, where you work, and what to do next.
  • It loads fast and dials with one tap.
  • It looks like the crew that shows up.

Free lesson

Can you check your own site?

Open your site on your phone. Answer these five questions. Every “no” is a caller you lose.

  1. 01

Is your phone number visible without scrolling? Tap it. Does it call?

  2. 02

Does the headline say what kind of work you do?

  3. 03

    Is your service area named?

  4. 04

Is there one clear button, like “Call now”?

  5. 05

Does the page load fast on your phone?

The audit ranks them fix-first.

Five boxes, five ticks — the same checks the audit runs.

Do the math

Three numbers. See the jobs you may be losing each season.

You pay for the clicks. Your website decides what they are worth.

No-script formula Site visitors who left × share who needed your work × average job value = rough monthly loss from your site.

Result: roughly $___ a month lost through your site. A rough estimate, not a promise.

Your numbers never leave this page. No tracking, nothing sent anywhere.

The fixes

What do the fixes look like?

Six fixes we check on every audit. Each pair is illustrative: made-up business, not a real client.

Illustrative example

BEFORE AFTER

Sticky call bar

Before
Number buried in the footer; mobile visitors give up looking.
After
Tap-to-call bar pinned to the top on every phone screen.
Why
No one will look hard for a phone number.
Payoff
Example: the no-heat caller reaches you, not the next company.

Illustrative example

Welcome to our website. Heating and cooling in Mississauga. Same-day AC repair. BEFORE AFTER

Service-first headline

Before
“Welcome to our website.” It says nothing about the work.
After
“Heating and cooling in Mississauga. Same-day AC repair.” Service and area, one line.
Why
Customers decide in seconds. The headline must answer who, what, where.
Payoff
Example: summer callers see help in seconds.

Illustrative example

? Mississauga + 3 towns BEFORE AFTER

Named service area

Before
No towns named. Callers wonder if you come to them.
After
“We serve Mississauga, Oakville, Etobicoke and Toronto.”
Why
Naming towns answers the coverage question before they call.
Payoff
Example: fewer calls from streets you do not cover.

Illustrative example

Call now BEFORE AFTER

One button on mobile

Before
Five buttons on one screen. Visitors tap none of them.
After
A single “Call now” button on every phone screen.
Why
One clear next step works better than five choices.
Payoff
Example: faster decisions, more calls per visit.

Illustrative example

Contact No heat tonight? Call now BEFORE AFTER

Emergency line

Before
One number for everything, buried under the contact page.
After
“No heat tonight? Call now — we answer around the clock.”
Why
Emergency callers act first and read later. Show them a number right away.
Payoff
Example: winter breakdown jobs you used to miss.

Illustrative example

BEFORE AFTER

Real crew photos

Before
Stock photo of two people shaking hands. Could be anyone.
After
Your van, your tech, your actual work. Clearly you.
Why
Customers pick the crew they can picture at their door.
Payoff
Example: homeowners trust you before they call.

Walk-throughs

What does an audit find?

Three fictional heating and cooling (HVAC) businesses. What an audit finds, and what changes.

An HVAC company whose ads bring no quotes

Illustrative walk-through. Fictional HVAC business. Not a real client.

Priya runs Northline Heating & Cooling in Mississauga. Her ads bring clicks, but few people ask for quotes. The audit finds: five competing buttons on mobile, no service-area list, and a contact form with eleven fields. She keeps one “Call now” button, names her towns, and cuts the form to name, number, and problem.

An HVAC company stuck in the wrong season

Illustrative walk-through. Fictional HVAC business. Not a real client.

Dave runs PolarAir Heating & Cooling in Vaughan. July brings no-AC calls, but his site still leads with furnace installs. The audit finds: wrong-season headline, no tap-to-call on phones, service area not named. He matches the headline to the season, pins a call bar to every screen, and names his towns.

plans?

An HVAC company that never mentions its plans

Illustrative walk-through. Fictional HVAC business. Not a real client.

Lena runs TrueComfort Heating & Cooling in Markham. Her maintenance plans keep the quiet months steady, but her site never mentions them. The audit finds: plans not mentioned anywhere, five buttons on one phone screen, contact form asks too much. She adds a plans line to the home page, keeps one “Call now” button, and trims the form to name, number, and problem.

Questions, answered

Questions heating and cooling owners ask

Is $397 a lot for a website review?

One lost job costs more than the audit. The report ranks fixes so the cheapest fixes come first, and the $397 comes off a rebuild if you book one within 30 days.

I am out on jobs all day. How much time does this take?

About ten minutes: book, send your web address, done. We do the reviewing. You read the report and watch a 10-minute video.

I already have a website. Why do I need an audit?

Having a site is not the same as having a clear one. The audit checks your existing site the way a customer sees it, and lists exactly where callers drop off.

I do not trust agencies. What makes you different?

Fair question. We are a new Toronto studio, so we will not show you a client list we do not have. The deliverables are in writing up front: report, video, wording. No contract, no monthly fees.

You are new. Why should I trust you?

Judge us by the work. The audit itself is the proof: specific problems, ranked fixes, wording you can paste in today. You keep everything even if you do it yourself.

Will this get me more calls?

We cannot promise calls, and we will not. What we promise: a plain list of where your site loses callers, ranked by impact, with the fixes spelled out.

Clear websites. Easy to call.
